Putting together your Teardrop Banner is a quick and easy process.
To begin, unpack the poles and construct the flagpole by connecting the individual sections from largest to smallest. Simply insert one end of the poles into the other and push them together.
Once the pole is assembled, it’s time to attach the Teardrop Flag. Start by inserting the top of the pole (the smallest segment) into the bottom rod pocket of the banner and push the pole through until it reaches the end of the pocket. The end of the rod pocket is reinforced, and it is crucial to keep the pole tip within this section to prevent damaging the banner.
Next, pull the banner down the pole while pushing the pole into the banner. You will observe the top of the pole bending, and you should continue pushing the pole and pulling the banner until the pole bends into a complete “teardrop” shape and the banner cannot be pulled further.
Finally, follow our Flag Tensioning Guide to fasten the flag to the pole.
Once you have placed your flag base in the correct position, insert the bottom of the pole into the spindle on the base. Your Teardrop Banner is now fully assembled and ready to use.
Your Teardrop Flag will be delivered folded and may have creases upon arrival. These creases will disappear naturally over time when used outdoors. However, if you wish to eliminate the creases promptly, a steamer is the most effective method. A warm iron may also be used, but ensure that an ironing cloth is placed between the banner and the iron.
If your Teardrop Banner becomes dirty, you can clean it by wiping it with a damp cloth using cold water. Alternatively, you can wash it in a washing machine on a gentle cycle without any detergents or bleach, using cold water.
Even though the Teardrop Flag is durable and made for outdoor use, we recommend that you avoid using it during severe weather conditions to prevent possible damage.
